You'll find what you're looking for in the Hurunui region. Set in picturesque rolling hills, the region offers indulgence and relaxation as well as action-packed adventures.

The Hurunui Hotel is just a 30 minute drive from the award-winning wineries of the Waipara Valley, and 35 minutes from the resort town of Hanmer Springs – you'll be able to indulge with a soak in the thermal springs and treat yourself to a spa treatment in the morning, then go bungy jumping in the afternoon.

The Hurunui is famous for salmon and trout fishing and anglers from all over the world come to try their luck on the region's rivers – most of them stay at the Hurunui Hotel from where they can walk to the water.
